A versatile singer and guitarist best known as the Florida representative of bro-country hitmakers Florida Georgia Line, Brian Kelley parlayed his success with the band into a solo career in 2021 with his surf-tinged debut EP, BK's Wave Pack.
A native of Ormand Beach, Kelley met future bandmate Tyler Hubbard while attending Belmont University in Nashville. Settling on the name Florida Georgia Line (Hubbard was born and raised in Monroe, Georgia), the duo ascended to the upper echelons of country superstardom with the release of their 2012 single "Cruise." Since then, the Grammy Award-winning duo has issued five gold and platinum studio albums and sent 18 number one singles to the Billboard Country charts.
Shortly after the release of the band's fifth long-player, Life Rolls On, Kelley issued his first solo effort, BK's Wave Pack. Co-penned and co-produced by Corey Crowder and congruent with Kelley's easygoing "beach cowboy" demeanor, the four-song set paired the good-time swagger of his flagship band with the sunny surf vibes of Jimmy Buffet. ~ James Christopher Monger
